The Rug Creation Process

Most rugs in our inventory are made by hand and knotted in Nepal, India, Pakistan, and Turkey. Wool that has been vegetable dyed and the finest natural silk are used in most creations.

The entire process of creating a rug for your floor is very labor intensive. Each individual knot is tied to a foundation and takes months to complete. After the knotting is completed, the rug goes for shearing, washing, drying, and blocking.
