Jaffe Rug Gallery sells rugs that are knotted by hand in Nepal, Pakistan and India. Wool that has been vegetable dyed and the finest natural silk from China are used in most creations.
The entire process of creating a rug for your floor is very labor intensive. Each individual knot is tied to a foundation and takes months to complete. After the knotting is completed, then the rug goes for shearing, washing, drying and blocking.
Our rugs are like paintings and should be considered "Works of Art" but are as durable and lasting as time itself!
They are the "Antiques of Tomorrow"...........
